Wellington Point Recreation Reserve Beach Playground

Right on the water at Wellington Point, this playground ticks pretty much every box for a solid family outing. The kids have slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a sandbox to keep them busy, while parents can actually sit in the shade and watch without losing anyone. There are BBQs and picnic tables if you want to make a day of it, which honestly most people do — especially on a nice weekend morning before it gets too crowded. The open grass area and walking path mean older kids aren’t stuck just at the play equipment, and the beach being right there takes care of the rest. Baby change facilities and decent parking make the logistics a lot less painful too.
