The basketball court here gets a solid workout most afternoons — primary school kids from the surrounding streets basically claim it as their own. Shade trees actually do their job properly, which in a Queensland summer is no small thing. There’s exercise equipment alongside the usual play set, so older kids aren’t left standing around while the younger ones have all the fun. Council put some work into this one and it shows.
