If you haven’t taken the kids to this one yet, you’re missing out on one of the better spots in the northside. Tucked right alongside the Kumbartcho Sanctuary trails in Eatons Hill, the whole setup feels more like a nature escape than a typical suburban playground — big shade trees, that earthy bush smell, and actual forest surrounding you. The fenced enclosure is a genuine relief if you’ve got runners in the 3-5 age bracket, and sightlines are solid throughout so you’re not constantly craning your neck. There’s a climbing structure, slides, swings, and a sandbox to keep the 3-10 crowd busy, and honestly most kids don’t want to leave. Parking is easy, and it pairs brilliantly with a walk through the sanctuary if you want to stretch the outing out.
