Ebert Park Playground

Locals with young kids know this one well — it’s the kind of park you end up at two or three times a week without really planning to. The enclosed play area is a genuine lifesaver for parents of toddlers, since you can actually relax without doing that constant head-count thing. Kids aged around 2 to 10 get plenty to work with: slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a sandbox that somehow always has a crowd around it. The shade trees make a real difference during summer, and parking is easy enough that you’re not dreading the trip before you even get there. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid, and the community vibe here is the real drawcard.
