Pirate Playground

If you’re anywhere near Scarborough Beach, this one’s worth the detour. The pirate theme is actually done well — proper ship elements, not just a token steering wheel bolted to a post — and the whole setup is accessible, which makes it genuinely usable for more kids. There’s decent shade from the trees, which matters a lot up here in summer, and parking is easy enough. It’s the kind of local spot that regulars know about but doesn’t always show up on the tourist radar.
