Atherton’s community park in Hermit Park is one of those low-key local spots that families keep coming back to. It’s nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point — a decent patch of green where kids can burn off energy and adults can actually breathe for a minute. Worth knowing it’s not wheelchair accessible, so keep that in mind if you need it. Good for a casual afternoon out with the family.
