Glengowrie’s little bee-themed gem on Stanley Street is worth the trip, especially since the recent renovation really lifted the whole space. The climbing structure and slides carry through the honeycomb aesthetic in a way that’s actually clever rather than gimmicky, and the interactive game tables give kids something to do beyond just running around. Shade is genuinely good here — between the sail and the trees, you’re not going to be squinting through a whole afternoon visit. There’s parking right there, benches for the grown-ups, and enough open grass that toddlers can wobble around safely while older kids tackle the climbing gear. A solid local park that punches above its weight for the area.
