The wooden castle and climbing nets keep kids busy while adults sort out the BBQ — the pavilion setup here is genuinely well done for a reserve this size. West Lakes beach is basically a two-minute walk away, so you can tack that on after lunch without any effort. Slides and swings cover the younger ones, and the walking path around the lake is decent if someone needs to burn off extra energy. Toilets and parking are both easy, which honestly makes the difference on a busy weekend.
