Second Street Playground

Wingfield’s not exactly where you’d expect to find a playground, sitting as it does in the middle of an industrial area, but here it is on Second Street. It’s a no-frills setup — don’t come expecting a sprawling park — but the wheelchair accessibility is a genuine plus, especially when accessible options in this part of Adelaide are pretty thin on the ground. If you’re passing through the area with kids or need somewhere that accommodates different mobility needs, it does the job. It’s basic, sure, but sometimes basic and accessible beats fancy and not.
