Hope Valley Reservoir Playground

If you haven’t made the drive out to Holden Hill for this one, you’re missing out. The reservoir backdrop does a lot of the heavy lifting here — it’s genuinely one of the prettier spots in the area, and the open grass field gives kids room to actually run around rather than being confined to a small fenced square. There’s a climbing structure that keeps younger ones busy, and the BBQ and benches make it easy to turn a quick visit into a proper afternoon out. Restrooms on site means you’re not scrambling when nature calls. Bring the whole family — the outdoor gym nearby means adults aren’t just standing around watching.
