Semaphore South got a solid upgrade here — new fencing, padded flooring, and proper shade structures make this one of the better spots along this stretch of coast for primary school kids. The enclosed setup means parents can actually relax on the benches without constantly chasing anyone down. Shade trees do a decent job of keeping things cool, which matters a lot on a summer afternoon this close to the beach. Toilets are on-site too, so you can make a full afternoon of it after a swim.
