Bob Pettitt Reserve Playground

Locals know this one as a solid stop along Sunset Strip — close enough to the beach that you can still smell the salt air while the kids run around on the open grass. It’s pretty relaxed, more of a kick-the-footy-and-breathe kind of spot than a feature-packed playground. The walking path makes it easy for everyone to get around, which is handy when you’ve got strollers or older family members in tow. If you’re already heading down to Jan Juc beach, it’s worth a wander through.
