If you live anywhere near Norcross, Lucky Shoals is probably already your go-to spot — and for good reason. The basketball courts and soccer fields get solid use on weekends, and the open grass area is big enough that you’re not constantly dodging other people’s kickball games. Shade trees actually do their job here, which matters a lot come July. The walking path is well-paved and maintained, restrooms are clean, and there’s real parking — not the kind where you’re circling for 20 minutes. It’s the kind of park that makes you feel like the county actually cares about keeping things up.
