One of the better playgrounds in Athens, honestly — the enclosed layout with a single entry point makes it so much easier to relax while the kids do their thing. The shade trees and covered seating mean you’re not baking in the Georgia heat while you wait. It backs up near trails and forest, so if you’ve got older kids or just want to stretch your legs after, the walking path connects nicely. Good restrooms, picnic tables, the works — it’s the kind of spot you end up staying at longer than planned.
