If you’re local to Amersham and haven’t spent a Saturday afternoon here, you’re missing out. The enclosed playground keeps younger kids safe while they work through the slides, swings, and climbing structure — and there’s enough going on to hold their attention for a decent stretch. When the kids are done, the basketball court and soccer field give older ones somewhere to burn off energy, and the walking paths that push toward the forest are genuinely worth exploring. Picnic tables and parking make the logistics easy, which probably explains why it gets busy on weekends. Best for families with kids up to about 12.
