Green Valley Park

If you live in Payson, you already know Green Valley Park is basically the town’s living room. The lake is the real draw — walk the paved path around it and you’ll spot elk, birds, and all kinds of wildlife without even trying. Kids can splash around in the water feature while adults claim a shaded bench or picnic table and actually decompress. It’s one of those places that’s genuinely dog-friendly and well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every park around here. Weekends sometimes bring community events, so it’s worth checking what’s on before you go.
