There’s a solid mix of slides, climbing gear, swings, a sandbox, and musical equipment, so even the easily bored ones stay busy. The whole play area is fenced, which is a genuine lifesaver if you’ve got a runner, and parents can actually sit and relax without craning their necks — shade trees, benches, and good sightlines make that easy. Restrooms, a baby change station, BBQs, and picnic tables mean you can make a proper afternoon of it rather than a quick stop. One of the better-maintained parks in Melville, no question.
