If you’re going to drag yourself out to Wilson, this place makes it absolutely worth it. The riverside setting does most of the heavy lifting — grab a coffee (oat, almond, soy, whatever you’re after, they’ve got you covered) and park yourself near the water feature while the kids burn energy on the open grass. There’s decent shade from the trees, which you’ll appreciate if you’re there on a warm afternoon, and the walking paths connect straight into the trails along the Canning River. Dogs are welcome, the sweet potato chips are genuinely good, and the whole wetlands backdrop makes it feel like more of an outing than just a café stop.
