Swanbourne Beach Playground

The fenced enclosure here is a proper lifesaver if you’ve got toddlers who like to bolt — you can actually relax instead of doing that anxious half-jog the whole time. It’s right near the beach, so you get that coastal backdrop without having to deal with sand in everything. There’s a BBQ area and decent shaded seating, which makes it genuinely worth packing a proper lunch for. Shade trees do a lot of the heavy lifting on hot days, and sightlines across the play area are good enough that you can sit down without losing track of anyone.
