Herdsman Lake East Playground

Right next to Herdsman Lake, this little playground punches above its weight with a climbing structure that keeps kids genuinely busy for a while. There’s a sandbox for the toddlers who just want to dig, and the slides do the job without being anything flash. It’s pretty compact, which actually works in its favour — easy to keep an eye on the kids without chasing them across a field. Could definitely use a few more features as the kids get older and want something more challenging, but for the under-8 crowd it’s a solid local option worth knowing about.
