Sunset Park Playground

Banks doesn’t have a ton going on, but this playground is genuinely one of the better ones in the area — and worth the drive if you’re coming from Hillsboro or Forest Grove. The equipment is newer, with slides, swings, a climbing structure, and yes, an actual merry-go-round (kids lose their minds over it). Shaded picnic tables make it easy to post up for a few hours without melting in the summer, and the parking situation is way better than most parks this size. Restrooms on-site seal the deal for families with little ones in the 2-12 range.
