Right next to the pier, this spot has a concrete slide and a whale climbing structure that kids genuinely lose their minds over — the whale alone is worth the trip. It’s an urban, busy scene, especially on weekends, but there’s solid parent sightlines throughout so you’re not constantly chasing. Benches, restrooms, and parking are all right there, which matters when you’ve got little ones in tow. The walking path along the pier gives you something to do while the kids burn energy, and honestly the ocean views from here are hard to beat. Good for ages 2 through 12 and up, though the littler ones seem to get the most out of the climbing setup.
