Oak Hill Snow Play Area

If you’re driving through Williams on I-40 and the kids are losing their minds over the snow outside the car window, just pull off — Oak Hill is right there and it’s free. The hills are genuinely good for sledding, not just a slight incline someone slapped a sign on, and there’s enough variety that toddlers and older kids can both find their spot. Restrooms and parking make it way more functional than a lot of random snow pull-offs in the area. Honestly, for families with kids up to about 14, this is one of those stops that ends up being the highlight of the whole road trip.
