Lake Stanley Draper Playground

Honestly, the lake views here make it worth the trip alone — there’s something about letting the kids run to the slides while you set up at a shaded picnic table with the water right there in the background. The BBQ area is solid for a family cookout, and parking is never really a struggle, which is more than you can say for most OKC parks. The paved walking and bike track loop around nicely, so adults actually have something to do while the little ones wear themselves out. Fair warning though — depending on the time of year, bugs near the water can get annoying, so bring something to keep the mosquitoes off.
