One of the quieter spots in Van Buren, this park is the kind of place where you can actually relax while your kids run around. The playground works well for a pretty wide age range — toddlers aren’t getting lost in the mix, and older kids have enough going on to stay entertained. There’s a bike track and open grass field, plus a walking path that loops through nicely with views of the pond nearby. Parents can keep an eye on things easily, which matters more than people give it credit for. If you live on this side of town, you probably already know about it — and if you don’t, it’s worth the detour.
