If you’re in Cullowhee and need a solid spot to burn off some energy, this one’s got you covered. The basketball court and soccer field keep older kids busy, while the little ones (we’re talking 2 and up) have plenty of room to run around on the open grass. There’s shaded seating if you’re the kind of parent who needs to sit down for five minutes without melting in the Carolina heat. The walking path is a nice touch too — easy loop while the kids do their thing. Staff actually keeps the place up, which you’d appreciate if you’ve been to some of the rougher parks around the county.
