If you’re stationed at Bragg and looking for a low-key afternoon out, Pope Field’s Wilson Park checks the boxes without any fuss. The equipment is pretty basic, but kids in the 2-12 range don’t seem to care — especially when there are turtles and ducks at the pond to keep them entertained. Bring some bread and let the little ones go wild with the wildlife. The open grass field gives older kids room to run while parents actually get to sit down and breathe for a minute. Restrooms on-site, which honestly makes or breaks a park visit with toddlers.
