If you’re anywhere near Kinston, this one’s worth the drive. The dragon theme isn’t just a paint job — the climbing structure actually commits to the bit, and kids between 2 and 13 tend to lose track of time on it. Soft surfacing underfoot means less panic for parents, and the shade canopies make it genuinely usable even in a Carolina summer. There’s a pond nearby that adds a nice backdrop, plus picnic tables if you want to make a full afternoon of it. The inclusive swings are a big deal for families who’ve had to skip playgrounds before — good to see Kinston get this one right.
