Bay Sand Point

If you’ve got a kayak or paddleboard, this little sandy peninsula is worth every bit of effort to get there. It’s the kind of spot locals don’t exactly broadcast — clean sand, calm water on both sides, and none of the crowds you’d deal with at the main beach. Walk the path, sit down, do nothing for a while. The bay access makes it genuinely special, and with the pond nearby adding to the scenery, it’s got a quiet, almost hidden-away feel that’s hard to find this close to town.
