Blue Hole Swimming Area

Locals have been coming to Blue Hole for years, and for good reason — the swimming area sits right up against the woods, so you get that full Arkansas forest experience without driving too far out. The walking path is a nice touch, good for warming up before you get in the water or just wandering if you’re not feeling a swim. Fair warning though: water levels here shift with the seasons, so check before you make the trip — what’s a great swimming spot in spring can look pretty different by late summer. It’s the kind of place that rewards knowing when to go.
