Birdventure

Tucked into the Anakeesta complex up in Gatlinburg, this spot is genuinely one of the better stops for families coming through the Smokies. The birdhouse-themed climbing structures are a nice touch — quirky enough that even adults do a double-take — and the slides keep younger kids occupied longer than you’d expect. It sits right alongside the trees, so you get that mountain forest feel without having to hike anywhere. Works for a wide age range, which is harder to find than it sounds up here.
