If you’ve got kids in the 3-to-10 range, this is honestly one of the more reliable spots in Morganton to burn off some energy. The climbing structure keeps the older ones busy while the swings are always a hit with the younger crowd. What I really appreciate is the shaded seating — summer around here gets brutal, and being able to sit somewhere that isn’t direct sun makes a real difference. Pack a lunch and grab one of the picnic tables, because you’ll probably end up staying longer than you planned.
