Strickland Park Playground

The recent renovations really made a difference here — this is one of the better playgrounds in Stillwater for the toddler-through-elementary crowd. You’ve got your standard slides and swings, but the climbing structure and merry-go-round give kids enough variety to stay busy for a while. Accessibility was clearly a priority in the redesign, which you don’t always see at older neighborhood parks. The shaded seating is a lifesaver in Oklahoma summers, and there are picnic tables plus restrooms on site, so you’re not scrambling. The skate park nearby means older siblings aren’t completely bored either, which honestly makes this a solid stop for families with mixed-age kids.
