Bull Shoals – White River State Park Playground

If you’re camping at Bull Shoals-White River State Park, the playground is honestly one of the better surprises on the grounds. They redid the whole thing not too long ago — new equipment, astroturf underfoot, the works — and it actually shows. Kids ages 2 to 12 have plenty to keep them busy, and when they’re done on the play structures, there’s a basketball court right there too. The campground setting keeps things mellow, no street traffic or random noise cutting through, just families doing their thing at their own pace. Grab one of the picnic tables and you’ve got yourself a solid afternoon without going anywhere.
