Children’s Park At World’s Fair Park

Right in the middle of downtown Knoxville, this spot at World’s Fair Park is honestly one of the better urban playgrounds in the city. The equipment is newer than what you’ll find at most neighborhood parks, and it shows — kids actually want to stay longer. When it gets hot, the splash pad just across the grass field is a lifesaver, and the open lawn gives everyone room to spread out. Clean restrooms nearby mean you’re not scrambling, which parents around here genuinely appreciate. Good for toddlers, good for older kids, good for a full afternoon out.
