Sugar Hollow Park

Locals know Sugar Hollow is one of those parks that actually delivers on everything — the water feature keeps little ones happy while older kids and adults spread out across the soccer fields, bike track, and walking paths that wind near the forest edge. There’s a pond nearby that adds a nice backdrop, and the whole place has a quiet, tucked-away feel even though it’s easy to get to with solid parking. Picnic tables, BBQ grills, benches, clean restrooms — it’s all there and genuinely well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every park in the area. Families with young kids will get the most out of the playground side, but honestly this is one of those spots that works for pretty much any age or plan, including camping if you want to make a full weekend of it.
