Snow play area

If you’re heading up to Crestview with kids in the snow season, this spot is genuinely one of the easier ones to pull off without a whole production. There’s actual parking, which sounds basic but makes a huge difference when you’ve got sleds, boots, and a four-year-old to wrangle. Kids in the 4–12 range get a solid run out of the sledding here, and the area has a reputation for being pretty manageable safety-wise compared to some of the more chaotic hillsides nearby. It’s not fancy, but that’s kind of the point — just good snow, happy kids, and you don’t have to hike half a mile from your car to get there.
