Pioneer Park Playground

If you’re in Kearney and need a solid spot to take the kids, this one’s worth knowing about. The playground gets the job done, and the walking path makes it easy to stretch your legs while the little ones burn off energy. Shade trees actually exist here, which matters in a Nebraska summer, and the benches give you somewhere decent to sit while you keep an eye on things. It’s close enough to town that grabbing food beforehand is a no-brainer, and the park pulls the community together for concerts and events throughout the year.
