Right on the riverfront, this place gets busy on weekends for good reason — the splash pad alone makes it worth the trip on a hot Louisville summer day. There’s a riverboat-themed section that the little ones absolutely lose their minds over, and older kids have plenty to keep them busy too. Shaded seating is actually decent here, which isn’t always a given at city parks, and the views of the river are a nice bonus while you’re watching the kids run around. Free admission makes it an easy yes when you’re trying to fill a Tuesday afternoon.
