Valley Park Inclusive Playground

Hurricane doesn’t have a ton of options when it comes to playgrounds that actually work for every age group, but Valley Park pulls it off pretty well. The enclosed play area gives parents of toddlers some peace of mind, while older kids stay busy on the climbing structure and obstacle course setup — there’s enough going on that they’re not bored in ten minutes. The musical equipment is a nice touch that you don’t see at most parks around here. After the kids run themselves out, there’s a soccer field and walking path if anyone still has energy left, plus picnic tables if you’re doing the whole packed lunch thing. It’s consistently clean and the equipment is actually modern, which matters more than people admit.
