Playground at Cedarville State Park

If you’ve got a toddler and you’re already planning a hike through Cedarville, this little playground is a solid bonus stop. It’s small — genuinely small — which is actually a feature when you’re chasing a three-year-old and don’t want to cover a lot of ground. The benches are right there, sightlines are good, and the whole thing sits close enough to the trees that it feels like part of the park rather than an afterthought. Don’t expect anything elaborate, but for the 2-to-6 crowd winding down after a trail walk, it does the job nicely.
