Honestly, if you’ve got a toddler who’s obsessed with animals and open space, this place just makes sense. It’s a working farm feel with a pond nearby, so there’s plenty to look at beyond the playground itself — which is sized just right for the 2-5 crowd without being overwhelming. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables get used, and the whole vibe is slow and unhurried in a way that’s hard to find around here. Avenue isn’t exactly a busy corner of Maryland, and that’s kind of the whole point.
