Airport Rd. Playground

If you’re passing through Boonville on Highway 128, this little spot off Airport Road is worth pulling over for. It’s got a genuinely pretty setting — the kind that makes you want to slow down, which is fitting for Anderson Valley. Pack a lunch, because the picnic tables here actually get used, and for good reason. Not the biggest playground around, but locals know it’s a solid stop when the kids need to stretch their legs and you need a decent view while they do it.
