If you’ve got a toddler in Highland, this park is one of the better spots to bring them on a weekday morning. The swings are a hit with the little ones, and the inclusive equipment means kids of different abilities can actually play together without anyone getting left out. Walk the trail while your kid burns off energy — it’s a nice loop that doesn’t feel like a chore. The pavilion makes it easy to stick around longer, especially if you’re meeting up with another family. Genuinely one of the more thoughtful parks in the area for the under-5 crowd.
