Michael Brent Playground – an All Accessable Park

One of the better-kept parks in Henry County, this all-accessible spot in New Castle genuinely delivers for families across the board — strollers, wheelchairs, grandparents, toddlers, all of it. The splash pad is the obvious draw in summer, and kids basically refuse to leave once they’re in it. There’s shaded seating nearby so you can actually watch them without melting, plus a BBQ area that makes it a solid pick for birthdays or low-key family get-togethers. The walking path and open grass field give older kids and adults something to do while the little ones wear themselves out. Restrooms are on-site and the whole place is consistently clean, which honestly isn’t something you can take for granted at a free public park.
