If you live in Grass Valley and haven’t made this your regular weekend spot yet, you’re missing out. The soccer field is legitimately huge — good luck finding a better one in the area — and the walking path around the grounds is the kind of low-key loop that actually gets you to slow down for a bit. Families tend to claim the picnic tables early on weekends, which tells you everything you need to know about how the locals feel about it. The open grass field gives kids room to actually run, and the whole place stays noticeably clean compared to a lot of parks around town. Quiet neighborhood, easy parking — it just works.
