Kiwanis Playground

Right along the Mississippi riverfront, this little spot is one of those places locals keep coming back to because it just works. The swings get plenty of use, and the covered picnic areas mean you’re not scrambling for shade in the middle of a Missouri summer. Everything’s kept up well — no broken equipment, no trash scattered around, which honestly isn’t a given at a lot of parks. There’s a solid open grass field if the kids need room to run, and the parking situation is easy. It’s a natural stop whether you’re spending the afternoon or just taking a quick break to soak up the river views.
