The castle-themed wooden structure here is genuinely one of the better playgrounds in this part of Indiana — big enough to keep older kids busy on the climbing elements while toddlers dig around in the sandbox nearby. When it gets hot, the splash pad becomes the whole reason to make the trip, and it’s the kind of place you’ll actually want to stick around at thanks to the shaded seating and clean restrooms. Picnic tables are well-placed, the facilities are kept up properly, and the parking situation never feels like a headache. That 6-mile walking and bike trail is a real bonus if you want to stretch things out beyond the playground itself. Families come from outside Covington for this one, and honestly, it earns the drive.
