Burgettstown Community Park

The swing set here is genuinely one of the better ones in the area — toddler buckets, a handicap-accessible swing, and enough variety that multiple kids can be on them at once without a fight breaking out. There’s a bigger playset with monkey bars and a slide, plus a smaller one loaded with multiple slides, so kids of different ages actually have their own space. The old merry-go-round is a nice touch — kids go absolutely nuts for it. Paved paths wind through the park, which makes it easy for bikes and scooters, and the restrooms are clean and well-maintained, which honestly puts this place ahead of half the parks in Washington County. Pack a lunch — the pavilions have power outlets and plenty of picnic tables if you’re doing a birthday party or just want to hang out.
