One of the better family spots in Fort Collins, honestly. Edora has separate play areas for little ones and older kids, so your toddler isn’t getting run over by a pack of eight-year-olds — always appreciated. The shade situation here is genuinely good, between the mature trees and the covered seating, which matters a lot when you’re doing a summer afternoon with kids who refuse to leave. Pack a lunch and grab one of the picnic tables near the BBQ area, or just let the kids loose on the open grass field while you decompress. Restrooms, parking, a walking path — it checks every box without feeling like a lot of effort to get to.
